  • The Madras institution Act of 1926 founded Andhra University, a residential teaching-cum-affiliating multidisciplinary institution serving the whole linguistic region of Andhra.The founder of the institution is Sir C.R. Reddy.vice chancellor, with Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan filling the second position.A unique setting in a city like Visakhapatnam is created by a 425-acre campus that is scattered with 205 buildings, large open spaces, a dazzling ecosystem with rich biodiversity, and magnificent Kailasa Hill with the mysterious blue Bay of Bengal in front of it. In various ways, Andhra University has supported the national education mission by providing high-quality education.
